*So far...

I think this one’s on Slay. Both DeJean and Quinyon let there men go across the field where they can be picked up by CJGJ and Slay and the Eagles then have Blankenship and Quinyon deep to catch any crossers from Slay’s side.

This shows how much potential Nolan Smith has. I know they’re 6 over 3, but having an edge player capable of setting the edge in the run game, getting after the passer as he’s done the second half of the season and then blanketing the tight end on a wheel route is unbelievable.

I think AJ sees that Calcaterra/Wilson screws up and that if he continues, there’s no spacing at all maybe and by stopping there, he at least gives Wilson a further bit of room to make a catch.

I don't know, maybe boy genius Shanahan could have designed a play where he wasn't blocking the league's second-leading sacker with a backup tight end and maybe Purdy doesn't get hurt.

If Jurgens is out, it’ll be Dickerson at center and Steen at guard.

That shouldn’t have been a “call on the field stands.” That 1,000% should have been, “The call on the field has been confirmed.”

If the gym isn’t there to crunch someone’s face, why’s it called Crunch Fitness?

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills with all the takes referring to a helmet to helmet hit on a ball carrier (not a defenseless receiver) somehow being illegal at the NFL level and utilizing a still shot to say that Nixon had possession.

They had to have done something to the K balls.

I went back during commercial and it was ticky tack but he was moving forward at the snap.

When the offense is going three and out after three and out, the defense generally gets gassed…

Who just so happens to be Lane’s personal coach in the offseason…
comment in response to post
Again, it has been interpreted for at least the last 8 years. Lane and JP have been doing this since before Super Bowl 52.

Hard agree. The first USC at least should have been offsetting, but you have to know to STFU when a second gets you kicked out, regardless of whether the first is offsetting or not.

Insert Duke Manyweather video about Lane/JP. This is not a false start at the NFL level. In a two point stance, it's not a false start until his right foot touches the ground again before the ball is snapped.
comment in response to post
Eagles fan here. Not a false start coming out of a two point stance until the back leg touches the ground again. Lane and JP have been doing that for years.

That was 2022 Eagles fourth quarter offense.

Pretty sure he actually called the Steelers the Phillies.

Not sure what CJGJ wa thinking on the stem. Baun has inside leverage, CJGJ should have had outside.
comment in response to post
All he really gave up today was the deep crosser to Thielen on a really well-thrown ball from Young where he didn't have leverage to begin with.

I mean, that's simply not true. Opponents' wide receivers have been completely taken out of the game, particularly since the bye, and when your corners don't travel, that means the corners on both sides have played really well.
comment in response to post
What games have you guys been watching? Slay's been great this year. Not Quinyon or DeJean level, but he's played really well.
comment in response to post
Can we call this the 2022 Colts or Bears games instead?
comment in response to post
I swear they had to have done something to the K balls this year. Kickers have been bad league-wide.
comment in response to post
If they don’t pay Jones, are they not in the running to draft a quarterback, meaning they have a quarterback on a cheaper deal, allowing them to have an expensive running back for the duration of the rookie contract?
comment in response to post
Should double the fine for stealing it from Oubre.
comment in response to post
He’s at 302 from scrimmage.
comment in response to post
They seriously must have done something to the kicker balls this year.

I’d like to know where the PI was (at least this one ended up not mastering).

Which is it with this person? Sports should stay on twitter or not?

I’d still rather be Joe Schoen and not have to get hit by 300 pound freaks of nature to make my money.

How about a “Fuck Marcus Hayes” chant?
