When you combine this, the executive order for the committee is dangerous and speaks of eugenics. I didn't say we shouldn't help reduce childhood obesity and diabetes, I'm saying this executive order is a dangerous precedent for mental health eugenics. It needs to be amended and stopped.

4. This language seeks to push that mental health is the same as physical health and should be treated as such: which is a dangerous narrative. Its a red herring to regulate and control the mental health field by folks who do NOT have that insight or training.

3. Autism diagnoses and research has significantly developed, allowing for more accurate diagnoses among children. This doesn't show the autistic population in their parents, who didn't have access to this research, and have suppressed their symptoms.

2. Equating a mental health condition to a physical health condition is intentional; he's trying to pair preventing diabetes (not all diabetes is preventable, but some is); to a heritable mental health condition. This is so elimination of those people seems "reasonable" to the goal.

1. Autism is partially genetically heritable, meaning he's wanting to weed out the genetically heritable population to reduce autistic diagnoses. That, or push for elimination of autistic accommodation and diagnoses, which WILL result in deaths and worse quality of life.

It's a very specific crowd I think-- that enjoys talking on the phone in gen z. Most, imo, hate it. I'm one of them that enjoys it, I tend to prefer it. But the ADHD tends to block the memory part that's critical for followup lol.

I was in awe, the small details and the homages he paid, the lyricism, the visual symbolism...incredible.

There's a base pattern available on YouTube! After working the pattern I've made a few tiny tweaks, but it's by no means my own pattern. Look up "tulip doily" and you'll find one of many vids! It's a vintage pattern!

I studied communications for my BA, and it's a skill that I see so undertaught and not utilized. It's why the division often gets worse in opportunities for unity. It's tough to witness 😪

I feel this. I don't partake at all, I rarely drink. And I don't want the pressure of being asked either. The need for more ppl to be pulled into their habits/the culture of enablement is upsetting to someone who doesn't use, so hard boundaries are necessary *sigh*

I think that it's wild to me that there's the inability to hold two truths? It's a plague that stems from chronically online conversations. It's absurd. People don't know how to have conversations. Thanks for doing the work to educate and talk, I know it's a lot ❤️

BUT, I do not think you're wrong. I think the entire conversation of "being likely to be deported under dems" is a talking point with decontextualized facts that also minimizes what's literally happening RIGHT NOW.

I will say, yeah the "or do you also identify as stupid" phrase as someone who's nb and queer was not super great, but I think the context of the frustration matters with it. It's weaponizing the illegitimacy of identity which is exactly how they're attacking DEI.

I think that's fair. For me, there's just a just a difference between "I feel safe telling you about this" vs. "I want you to actively support/engage with me in my addiction." I'm not sure which one it is, but ime, if its the first, ppl share that because they feel like you care about them ❤️

Maybe you're just someone they feel safe with, tbh.
