Republicans in Congress can repeal every tariff tomorrow and take Trump’s tariff authority away from him. But they choose not to. So every Republican in Congress owns EVERY SINGLE BIT of this. You can’t hide from the voters forever.

Portland showed up #handsoff

When disaster strikes – FEMA responds. All over the country, they save lives and help rebuild. Republicans just voted down @padilla.senate.gov’s amendment which would protect the agency from drastic cuts. And victims of disaster everywhere will pay the price.

I was wondering how they came up with these insane numbers. Of course it was something so incredibly dumb. Of course. This. Is. INSANE.

During his marathon filibuster, Senator Cory Booker read aloud a letter from a voter diagnosed with Parkinson's disease — which Booker's late father also had — who worried about the impact the loss of Social Security benefits could have on their family.

"As messed up as our immigration system is, Abrego Garcia navigated it. He followed every instruction America gave him. Our legal system agreed with his asylum claim and granted him protected status. He continued to comply with every law. He paid his taxes." www.thebulwark.com/p/a-tale-of-...
