Sounds like the K1!

Madness. Not the first time we’ve had this thanks to TW. Council need to act on this urgently!

Any indication when it’ll be fixed?

I love the desire path concept. I see them all the time! My view, if it’s what the masses want, adapt the pathways based on the ‘desire’ 😂

One of the worst organisations of our time. Passing the cost of their excessive, insulting payouts back to customers already under huge financial pressure whilst delivering a diabolical service and failing on basic maintenance

Agree! A Council presence on this platform and a conscious move away from the toxic world of X would be a massive boost for local engagement! 👏

Heard this from K’town too! What was it?!

Wow, don’t think I’ve ever seen it this high!

Great outcome! These markings were always confusing especially if cycling towards town (with complicated switch onto the cycle lane here).

Let’s hope this isn’t a repeat of what happened in the building next door. Sounds like it’s an issue with the roof (again).

Let’s hope history doesn’t repeat itself here. Roof issues with a certain neighbouring building have caused such a significant loss to this community already.

By that logic the kids soft play stuff that’s there the rest of the year should be banned too. To be honest it’s a good and rare bit of open space in the town centre which is better used for community things including the fayre and market. There is plenty of green space nearby.

The increasing number of gigantic cars parked on driveways which just happen to hang out over half the pavement. Really considerate. Best when a wheelie bin is used as a bollard to protect said cars, too 🤦

Wow 🤦

& contrary to many of the comments on the petition, this is not about the overall Christmas market, *only* the craft marquee in the churchyard…

💯 agree. Would be great to see RBK and their associated Contact Kingston feed on here!

Comprehensive and very balanced review, thanks for sharing 🙂

They’ve become lethal in Kingston, regularly being used on the pavements at high speeds — both hire and private-owned.

It looks marginally better than before (though personally not a fan of the rust effect) but given how long it’s taken and the disruption to bus services and, at times, heavy traffic congestion, I’m not sure it’s particularly transformational. It’s still going to be a cold, exposed place to wait.
