I know it's insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but it would be nice, and cheaper, if I could stop medicating to merely exist in the world. Let my antidepressants focus on fixing the chemical imbalances in my brain, not the rampant evil in the world.

Or Joe's where you're eating in a gas station. A little jank is critical for good BBQ.

Argh, let me have my new turning of the wheel. It had its detractors but surely Hollywood should appreciate what they had.
Me.

I'm still figuring it out, but I'm trying to sit with little surprises more. Taking the time to appreciate new information or unexpected but good outcomes.
I think it's natural to worry or fret over bad surprises, which takes time. So I want to consciously bias my attention towards the fun ones.

Transhumanism? Never heard of it. Carcinization is the real endgame. Thank you children for your great work.

I've noted a distinct lack of whimsy in my day to day. I'm trying to focus on introducing more and more into my life, and recognizing it where it already exists.
I'm tired of getting jump-scared by real life, I want to be jump-scared by little treats instead!

Me asking my doctor friend at a restaurant: Does our local medical school do public autopsies/dissections or the like.
Her: uhhh, no.
It's for purely academic purposes! But yeah...

Introduce our young to deeply troubling works of scifi and transhumanism to foster the horror writers of tomorrow!

This is one of the foundational aspects for millennials, we'll, this and being scammed 10k gp for girlfriends in RuneScape.
The internet is for lies and trauma, sometimes both at once!.

When do you know it's the right time to ship your manuscript? Deadlines? A certain number of editing passes? Gut check?
I'm on draft 4 of my first novel and while I feel like it's shaping up nicely, I could probably keep editing till the grave.

I don't know, I have thoughts. Lots of them. Does it make it a good show? Am I morally compromised by finding it fascinating? I have no idea, but I'll be watching the finale and letting the dice fall where they may.

But placing actors in compromising positions and allowing them to look awful on screen, or even now members of Congress to show a lack of knowledge on their alleged areas of special interest.
It's like Sacha Baren Cohen but without the revealing swimsuits. (Ok,maybe the Sully episode got close)

It's fascinating to see where folks draw the moral line and whether they believe the show crosses it. Some people say they've been financially hurt by it, but some seem to genuinely be helped.
I believe there's an earnest truth to it, wrapped in awkward humor, that allows me to keep watching.

If there are two things to say about snails; they are slow, and they are by far the best steed for slaying medieval era dragons.

Go fishing, go mad, go have fun. Dredge.
Absolutely agree with ya! It's got a lot of charm up its sleeves.
