The math is simple: Less regulation = more danger. Whether it's workplace safety, food quality, or transportation, deregulation has one winner (shareholders) and one loser (everyone else). America isn't a business—it's a society.

You can try to legislate us out of existence, but we are still here. You can strip away our rights, but you will never take our dignity. You can spread your hatred, but you will never break our resolve. BUT HEAR THIS LOUD AND CLEAR MOTHERFUCKERS: WE WILL NOT GO QUIETLY!!!

One of those days here in North Carolina. (Both of these were taken in Greensboro 3 hours apart) #ncwx

So one of the things that I think is lost on AI proponents is what I call the card catalog effect, a thing I shouldn’t call it because a lot of people probably have no experience with a card catalog.

Quick thought. People who start an insurrection don’t care about laws. Anywho. Happy Thursday.

🤷‍♂️

It isn’t “alarming.” It isn’t “outrageous.” It isn’t “unusual.” It sure as shit isn’t “arousing.” It’s fucking unacceptable and we don’t want more letters or statements or demands for investigations. We want action! We want sand thrown in the machine! We want leaders to lead! Right now!

Hi friends from Canada / Mexico: I’m so sorry our President is being a shit. I know what you have to do is going to suck for our country, but your actions are economic self-defense, and you have to stand up to bullies.

you shouldn’t care about it because they might be coming for you next, you should care that they’re coming for anyone at all

My dad was tortured by the Gestapo for 4 days and thrown in a concentration camp for being in the Norwegian Resistance. Growing up, he would tell me things he learned in the Resistance. I thought, I'm never going to need this stuff. Here's some of those things #Thread

CARTOON OF THE DAY

Today, honor a King, not a Felon. #mlkday2025

Folks trying to act cool and aloof about the TikTok ban sound genuinely idiotic. If you don’t get why it’s a devastating and dangerous precedent, that says way more about you than the people lamenting its loss. I learned so much on that app. I saw the funniest shit of my life there. Shit sucks.

RIP TikTok. It should have been Twitter. #tiktokrefugee

Incredibly grateful to be included in this article along with @oliviajulianna.bsky.social , @aaronparnas.bsky.social , and @joshuarmartin.bsky.social on why Tiktok has changed my life & the lives of so many others. #KeepTikTok open.substack.com/pub/contrari...

Shame on EVERY politician who voted in favor of the tiktok ban who has a tiktok! Hypocrites. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. Hippos. #tiktok #fredomofspeech #freedom

We are officially six days away from a TikTok ban. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming ruling, the possible outcomes, along with all the big news you may have missed from this weekend! open.substack.com/pub/aaronpar...

I’m less concerned about China owning TikTok than I am Musk, Bezos, and Zuckerberg being owned by the Republican Party.

Banning TikTok is hugely advantageous to both Google and Meta. They've both already built competitors, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. And while Congress and the Supreme Court cite data privacy and China wrt TikTok, Meta gave U.S. data to China before TikTok even existed

Our government will ban TikTok for our safety while toddlers can open carry rifles in my state…

My latest article on Substack. It's taken me awhile because life happens.

It's silly that Hans Gruber went through all that trouble to steal $640 million from Nakatomi Plaza when it would've been so much easier to run for office and tell billionaires he would cut their taxes.
