Exactly. I paid for 4
lessons and she wanted to work on strokes, etc. I know my various strokes cuz I used nose plugs. Every time we met I just wanted to practice putting my face in the water. It’s been nearly a year and I still feel pride in that accomplishment. 🏊♀️

Oh gosh. That paints quite the picture! 🙃I I learned in a YMCA pool where there at least 60 boys nd girls jumping around having a blast. I had private lessons but everyone was in the pool together.

I’ll continue hobbies of course. But “breathing” under water gave
me a sense of accomplishment that I realized there are many more challenges for me to face.

I’d like to tackle a similar useful
life hack. I’ll be 70 later this year and I have plenty of life (years and years) to start knocking life skills out of the park.
