Oh wait also you need an arrow from box numero 3 to “is there anything better available” in a “yes” response to the question of whether it was grown with pesticides 🌸

Well done! I love that you added “is it invasive” to this excellent decision tree. I know a lot of folks try to plant native but don’t always have the right tools. This should be plastered everywhere! 🐛🐝🕷️

I’m in my fancy beans for fiber phase. My Phaseolus Phase, if you will.

Any chance these were in response to the (at the time seemingly wild) success of Kentucky taco hut? 🍗🌮🛖

Lol my favorite representation of 841 is this drawing by Tongva artist Weshoyot Alvitre. She initially had the Santa Cruz Skate logo in there but they shut it down. They should’ve let her roll with it! 🦦🏄♀️

Oh man I’m sorry to hear that, my husband Jon worked with him for many years. He also said that he’d been in a catastrophic accident a couple years ago 😢

NHPA is at least congressionally mandated, vs NEPA, but the firestorm of EO’s and firings is still raging and yeah…the folks who need to do/say/act something loudly are 🤷♂️

I know they do, I wish we had some salamanders lil cuties. I’m on my second native plant garden now and it’s young, but already bringing cool bugs (and so many lizards and birds) in. Lol the only fauna I yell at until things get bigger are deer + gophers. Like a 90 yo man shaking my fist in the air😂

It’s really not good out west. There is so much federal land out here, big energy projects, a TON of sites and Tribes to work with. When you only have one (two if you’re lucky) professionals left on charge of say, an entire national park or the entire pacific region of an agency, well…💩

💯 it always amazes me what we DO find, especially with careful and experienced eyes on the ground/in erosional cuts. That any remnant of human activity can survive largely intact for 11,000 years (and much longer) just blows my mind. Every time.
