I think they just like seeing how high and what hoops they can get workers to jump thru for their own narcissistic pleasure. I am sure next DOGE will use AI to scan and determine who will get the axe😡

I needed a laugh today😂. History will show Trump at the bottom.

Yup, other people's ideas.

Crap like this makes me sad to be an American, not proud.

Totally surprised by this one🙄

I would rather have someone take a surgical knife to the govt, understanding the impact of the cuts, than a chainsaw. Musk and his audience's lack of empathy for those impacted shows you their true thoughts of the average American.

Cowards. Willing to send our military into conflict zones and allow the Capitol police to take a beating on 1/6, but they can't even verbally stand up for what is right.
comment in response to post
Disgusting. Trump is a traitor to democracy.
comment in response to post
Only Trump could drive Americans to cheer for another country when playing the USA.

If he/she can't do what is right, resign! You don't deserve the office. You took an oath.

So fun to watch! Hope he is an Eagle for awhile.

Guess he won't be able to recruit non-Christians then. He will get a big F*** you.

My father fought in WWII, my grandfather WWI, uncles in Korea, cousins in Vietnam, and ancestors who fought for the union in the civil war, and for independence from Britain. And these cowards can't even take a verbal stand? They don't deserve the office they hold.

We need more of this!

When you think the administration can't get any worse, and yet, it does. Disgusted. I will never forget how Republicans sold this county out. It is not just MAGA, but true Republicans who have shown no spine.
comment in response to post
Since Trump is usurping all of Congress's constitutional duties,we should ask the House why they are needed anymore. Maybe if we threaten their jobs since they have nothing to do, they will actually be spurred to act.🙄. God knows a primary scares them, so how about a threat to eliminate their jobs.

I bet the 8% they cut from the Pentagon won't affect Musk's contracts....
comment in response to post
So why are people not starting an expense tracker if all the taxpayer money Trump spends when he travels, golfs, attends sporting events?
comment in response to post
Wishful thinking - the Republican Senators Congress are spineless. They will speak meekly, but not take any action to go against him.
comment in response to post
Amazing how they don't even try to hide it. They know both the Senate and Congress are gutless. But We the People, are not!!!!
comment in response to post
That is what Democrats need to blast. While cutting jobs/expenses, Trump rang up huge expenses traveling to play golf, attend a super bowl, Daytona 500. Tie that to what DOGE is reporting. Yes, he is entitled to some R&R expenses, but there is a balance.

Agreed. I know precedent is to stay out of it, but the reality is Trump changed precedent. So fight Trump, then when we get a normal president who favors democracy and not dictatorships, go back to the precedent.

Amazing when voters for Trump, and Hawley's constituents realized they are getting screwed. Hawley will support tax cuts that predominantly benefit the wealthy and corporations. Where do you stand on tax cuts Senator Fetterman?
comment in response to post
They are trying to cut costs so they can keep cutting taxes, with the biggest benefit to the rich and corporations. In the end, it is the lower and middle class who will be screwed, and future generations saddled with more debt and a less safe USA.

Where is Congress?

Love this. My new favorite judge.
comment in response to post
He must have dementia since he doesn't know who started this war.
comment in response to post
And Trump said he could end it in one day. His day is up.
comment in response to post
Since Congress is not holding him accountable to follow the laws, I can see why he thinks he can do this. The people will have to hold them all accountable.
comment in response to post
I am sure they wanted to investigate the money Tesla received🙄

Ask Marco if Ukraine started the war, as Trump is saying now🤬

Cancelled Amazon earlier today

Canada is not for sale, nor are we going to invade it. Just stop giving Trump's stupidity attention.

Time to drop Amazon subscription. The convenience is hard to beat, but have to send a message somehow.

He obviously has not met Boebert, Mace, MTG, nor Tuberville in the Senate.

Stay strong AOC. We need voices like yours now more than ever.

As one of your constituents, keep Musk and his pals out of my financial and social security data. Those agencies can run reports they need, masking sensitive data. And if fraud, then id info to the DOJ. They can do a process and tech review for efficiency evaluation without personal data.
comment in response to post
Why aren't reporters pushing Musk and Trump when criminal charges will be fired for the massive fraud they are finding? Fraud is a crime. Have they referred the fraud to the DOJ? If not why - why, because it is not fraud, just DOGE's incompetence in understanding.
comment in response to post
Sad part is he probably knew it was false, but knew the image would get MAGA going and most wouldn't know that it was a movie shot. Damage done, achieved his objective.

If I was still on X, I would respond that abuse is allowing the wealthy and corporations to pay very little or no income tax. Listen to Warren Buffet and have them pay their fair share. Start with Elon.

Leaving NATO is a gift to Putin. Selling the US out again.
comment in response to post
Definitely a competition to see who best assuages Trump's huge ego.
comment in response to post
They are all gutless and weak. Not even standing up and fighting against policies hurting their constituents. The sound of silence is deafening.
comment in response to post
Agree, but I have not heard anyone, either in govt, the tech industry, or business address the jobs that will be lost and how these sectors will be able to make a living wage. It is hard enough with the ever increasing gap in executive to average worker pay. Care to educate us?
comment in response to post
Go Ashley. If I were on X still, would be there to cheer you on.
comment in response to post
And the reality is that most Americans are not willing to pay more for American made goods. Our cost of living is way higher. And Trump can put tariffs on imports to try and make more competitive, but it doesn't work.
comment in response to post
He has a God complex. And the SCOTUS enabled him.
