I don’t know. It depends on whether they want to analyze data or manipulate it. Or just flat out cherry pick the resources for their own results.
Because, you know,it’s a machine.

Sounds like people who have never been in a library or actually had to do research.
Maybe that’s why BlueSky is a butterfly so that people can come out of their shells & explore.

I remember the that being sometime around the beginning of DS9. I think it was part of cast and crew interview about what DS9 was supposed to be about.
Honestly a lot of interviews at the time were supposed to be building hype for the shows from morning shows to ET shows.

It depends on the type of injury. Muscle pulls & cramps come up more often when we are over 30 as well as joint inflammation, repetitive stress injuries, & dislocation.
The human body is meant for high levels of activity that includes large range of motion activities.

I think he’s done 3 performances where he actually got into a character & stepped out of himself or the same type of character he usually portrays: Risky Business, Born on the 4th of July, & Interview with a Vampire.

I can see your point there, but I’m talking more about how sexuality has become such a taboo subject in modern film industry. Chasing Amy didn’t have a sex scene, but sex was very important to the story. I’m saying this trend is a symptom of the problem of highly conservative values in major media.

superheroes so they can get the rewards & accolades that come with being a hero. But in becoming heroes they begin to question their past, actions, & motivations. They learn they were wrong & reform. It had nothing to do with the fact they were “failed” heroes, but instead true villains.

The films are not themselves oppressive, but very reflective of the oppression in the society & the industry. It’s not much different watching a film from the Hayes Code era. Hell Thunderbolts* is a great example of this. The source material is a bunch of villains decide to con people by becoming

Yes, but it very reflective of American culture that an American spy franchise does completely ignore sex. And one that is lead by someone who has been considered a sex symbol for most of their life.

important for us to be able to us accepting our bodies, health, & sexuality.
Apologies if I went on too long, but I was raised in two different environments when it came to sex. One where it was welcome & a means of speaking out against oppression & another it was barely spoken of. Open is better.

“appropriate” portrayal of the human body as clothed creating a false perception of human bodies? Not that showing only physically fit bodies helps, but that is better than nothing. Men should be shown just as much nude, portrayed nude, & varied as women. Showing the differences of the body is

Help me understand something, please. When you say sexless, how is that good? Sex in film is necessary. Not only does it reflect the human condition, but not having it also allows it to be suppressed, make it harder to discuss as a society, stigmatizes sex, also completely disavows the complexity of

True Frewer might be too old, but there’s a lot in Alexander’s performance that really reminds me of Frewer. The way he words things, his non-reaction reactions.
I didn’t know the series was based on books. I’m going to have to check them out.

I’ve seen all that AppleTV+ has put up so far & I’m loving it. But I am trying to get used to Alexander in the lead. It seems more of a role for Matt Frewer though.

I’m glad here is a better experience. I know you only from twitter & here. I know you love cats, you like soccer/football, & that we don’t agree with everything. But I have seen you be a thoughtful, & well researched, writer.
But it’s your love for animals that says a lot to me.

Query, do you have videos on the groups/organizations that believe they are trying to force/fulfill prophecies about bringing about a “second coming?” I ask because I have been around people who believe this way & I don’t understand their obsession mass death. Where does it come from & why?

Then how about a conversation about stopping saying, “They vote against their own self interest.” All that does is perpetuate the myth that people need to be ruled over & are not capable of thinking for themselves.

If the Rs really were for the working class they’d support a large proportion of the country being in the middle class. We could actually reduce debt, because more people would be paying a larger share, but they’re too afraid they wouldn’t have any power which is the only their actions say they want

Because IT IS what that party wants. They hide their motives behind misleading messages, very skewed perspectives, & tell us the equivalent of, “It builds character.” Speak plain & call them what they are, “Elites of the Elite.”

I’ve read the first book, but it’s hard for me to get further the series when she thought a sexual assault made a person gay & that it’s through anal sex people become gay.

Amazing. Corporations found a way to raise prices & blame the government, all because they have a useful idiot (they call a friend) in charge.

Through history, war is extremely rarely justified. Most politicians & people that push for it, I’ve noticed think of it as necessary evil, part of human nature, or righteous. I have never seen any act of violence as good. Maiming, traumatizing, or loss of loved ones only ever perpetuates the cycle.

We could have significantly less debt if our middle class was stable & larger. But our government is dominated by people who do not see the value in a large stable middle class. They only see people that people that need to be led, & fear a society of people who know what they do & do not want.

Depending on the age of the vehicle.
The best way for Supes to stop a vehicle like that is to take away or redirect the momentum. Like getting under the vehicle & flying it over the person.
Also, Supes mind has to operate at least as fast as the Flash for the speeds he’s able to obtain.

Several things come to mind:
1) Why not just swoop the kid out of the way?
2) wouldn’t the driver be hurt in that kind of maneuver?
3) Couldn’t he just slow the truck by freezing the vehicle in place? (At least the wheels to the cab)
4) Couldn’t he also blow a gust to slow the vehicle?
5) Wouldn’t

everyone has given up hope, you have to fight harder to bring it back, or let it die. But he also postulates that as long as people keep living, there is no reason to give up hope and not live, but to keep fighting for what the end goal is, a life well lived, as he demonstrates in Smith.

But dealing with trauma in positive ways was what made Capra stand apart. It’s not something a lot of people understand how to do. Hell since the beginning of the industrial age, we have been told work is more important than living. If you look at “His Girl Friday,” you see that Capra understands

Just like it was a choice for the past 20+ years for the media to not use the words zealots, extremists, cults, con men, grifters, thieves, & supremists. There was a time in which such words were heard on TV even when dealing with US politics.

How about a series that talks about what & how the slow erosion of things over the past 30 years has led us here?
How about starting with Newt’s statement of, “If I catch any of you working with a Dem, you’re out.” Or maybe starting with “Declining by Degrees” by John Merrow.
