I started a tracker to help people monitor company policy changes that may not align with their values (and those that do!): docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

“Do not bend your neck for that which cuts necks.” A Sumerian proverb, as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago.

the OTHER thing about the white house’s anti-diversity push is that like old fashioned segregation it is explicitly an effort to undermine unions! like c’mon! don’t be stupid!

So how’s it going so far?

It’s on. #boycotttarget

I cannot believe that I am getting fundraising texts from random Democrats in TYOOL 2025, in deepest winter. My head knows it’s because I was one of the 0.7 percent of American women who gave more than $200 in the last election cycle. But my heart is “JFC THAT DIDN’T WORK OUT. Stay out of my DM’s!”

You do not have to consume every single tiny piece of bad news in order to be a good person. It’s ok to miss things. Traumatizing yourself isn’t the same as activism. Bearing witness to the point that you’re paralyzed with fear and horror and fury isn’t going to help us get through this.

I’m seeing a lot of confusion about the Equal Rights Amendment online. I've been working on the ERA for 13 years & literally wrote a book about it. So, let me help answer some questions. 1) Yes, it really is a real amendment & fully part of the U.S. Constitution. Full stop.

Just FYI, administrative warrants (like the ones used by ICE) are not judicial warrants (used by cops, signed by a judge). You do NOT legally have to open the door for an ICE officer with an administrative warrant *no matter what the ICE officer says.*

120+ Indigenous tribal leaders have sent a letter asking for Executive Clemency for Leonard Peltier “A survivor of the federally funded boarding school system where he endured years of physical, emotional, and spiritual abuse” ndncollective.org/120-tribal-l... @ndncollective.bsky.social

Hegseth’s nomination, I just realized, is another chance to recommend the two books that all Americans should read to understand what the military does, and the cost to the people who do it: “The Good Soldiers” and its sequel of a sort, “Thank You For Your Service,” by David Finkel.

I love this.
