United should focus on the academy to improve the squad. With links to a striker and left wing-back for the summer, it is likely we can only afford one more signing on top of those two. It’s unclear how ready the academy players are, but we must find ways to bring more through.

Georgie Best. It’s 19 years since this man passed away. IMO the greatest player in the history of the game. I was privileged to have seen him play when I was a kid & also to have met him when I worked at United. He truly was a footballing genius!
