An important nuance is to recognise the inevitable emergence of hegemonic forces from any centralised authority. Even from the LEFT. Expect it to emerge even worse after the current experience. Appropriate technology could mitigate the negative aspects of centralisation.

And there exists technology to build trust but an ostrich like stance regarding tech does not help.

If one does not understand the technology it does not automatically become a lie. It takes an effort to understand cutting edge emerging technologies. AI poses a similar threat, it's poised to completely overwhelm if not approached correctly.

BlackRock calls it a trillion-dollar intervention. But speculators stole the mic. The Left missed the plot. This isn’t tech bro fantasy—it’s programmable solidarity. Designed right its the most Left thing after Commons.

For one, when Blockchain as highlighted by The Economist magazine, as "the truth machine" - the one single thing which is in such short supply, how come the brains and creative types do not find a way of leveraging it.

One reason is the left does not understand or knows how to leverage technology. Even crypto/blockchain has positive aspects which can be used, but it's been so badly tarnished, that amazing opportunity seems lost forever to the Left.

And Good Morning to wherever it's morning. GoodAfternoon and Good Evening too wherever it's afternoon or evening. Global means we are on a globe - it's rotating too. Except for flat earthers. 😉

Nothing wrong in buying up a company or technology to build something much better. Microsoft, Apple, every existing company is built on the shoulders of something which came before it.

Much more that. It's a paradigm shift over every form of value.

Am a die hard liberal, not an American, and if I were an American, I would be supportive of the Biden/Kamala type of Democrats. Am also an Economist/Financial Engineer. One of the biggest mistakes the Democrats, led by Sen.Warren made was to not recognise the positive aspects of crypto.

It would be fascinating to see how the extraordinary acceleration of technological change driven by AI unfolds. How the traditional hierarchies, if not entirely inverted, can at least be flattened.

The original picture must be in shades of grey or are these colours actually seen thru the telescope? Curious.
