We had this happen in a small town in Ohio while driving from coast to coast. We stopped at a McD's and istg everyone was related. They were short and had white-blond hair--it was like the Village of the Damned in real life. They stared at the mixed group of us; we went ahead and ate on the road 😅

Lord, the stories I could tell. Got a call once from an inspector asking what to do about 15 llamas (the owner had passed away). Thankfully my dept made a point of trying to build relationships with different rescues. We were beside ourselves every other week tryin to get abandoned pets picked up

if I had the space in this house, I'd be so tempted. Back when I still worked for a property management co, a big python was abandoned in one of our houses. The way I wanted to jump in the van and go pick it up 😭

This was the first game I remember buying just because YouTube cued it up randomly for me. The music hit, and the comments about the game made me think I should try it. I walked off the world, the narrator teased me, and I was hooked.

I'm a local scene enjoyer, but the small punk/metal/indie shows are too much now, nm big pop stars. 3 yrs ago I paid $30-$60 for tix; I did not sit in a queue of 2k bots for a chance at $300+ resales for a band with only a small clique of fans. The artists aren't getting that $$$

The r0 for pertussis is around 14, and the Tdap booster drops below 50% vaccine efficacy at 4.5 years. If it's been more than 4-5 years since your last Tdap booster, get one of those too. Get them now while they are still available.

Repeating the standard message: if you were born before 1989, there's a good chance you didn't get both doses of MMR vaccine as a child, and there are people who lose immunity over time. If your insurance will pay for a titer test to check immunity, get one done. If not, get a booster.
