Tried reading Snow White as a bedside story for the three year old yesterday. Remembered a few minutes in (around where the evil queen orders the seven year old snow white murdered so that she can eat her heart and liver for breakfast) that the original Brothers Grimm version is not quite Disney.

For the Swedish angle, this is what it comes down to. Currently on force there are seven corvettes - two 35 year old 400-ton and the five more modern 650-ton Visby currently headed for MLU - with two old 380-ton ex-corvettes now doing OPV-work.

Swedish govt purposes authorising sale of up to four S 106 GlobalEye AEW&C aircraft to Denmark. Doesn't necessarily mean that a deal is forthcoming, but a pretty solid indication that the Danes have made a formal RFI and are thinking seriously about airspace C2 and surveillance in the Arctic.
