The Treaty of Fez, which established the French protectorate in Morocco. Not really my "favourite" but a great source to discuss its impact and how it was not implemented by the French authorities.

This reminds me of the poem "Nayl al-āmāl fī ziyārat ashrāf al-niʿāl" by ʿAbd al-Salām b. al-Ṭayyib al-Sharafī al-Andalusī (d. 1929). I'd love to read an article on this! :)
