I got into the room with my partner and had what I'm calling a delayed panic attack.
It was not pretty.

I've gotten my boy hurt.
I sit there for another 20 minutes or so, and I decide change and go to sleep.

Another run around the complex/are. It's Dusk, I'm terrified he's out there cold and alone.
Then, just like always, manic comes crashing down.

Another rampage. I get dressed and head outside. I go through my building (just 3 stories with 3 apartments on each) seeing if he snuck past me.

After another 15 minutes of looks, I get my partner into it.
We search together for the next 45 minutes, pulling out storage (my walk in closet stuff) and stored items under our platform beds.
There is no sign of his #floofy #blackcat butt. He's hard to miss, unless it's dark. 😂😅

He has an ear occlusion he's been working our vet to clear.
Did the round through my apartment (a mess 🫠) and couldn't spot him in his normal haunts. I got deep check under beds and in cabinets, under shelving, in closets.
I'm annoyed more than anything at that point; he has a history of hiding.
