I was 33 when I first saw the Milky Way, backpacking in Peru.

The media totally wanted trump to win, because they will get more audience engagement and ratings. It’s sad.

Nah. Trump already lowered the level of discourse into the sewer. This is just meeting him where he is.

You are my new hero and an example for all Christians. You spoke truth to power when no one else would.

These are essentially Jesus’s teachings. Have mercy on the marginalized in society. Would Laura call Jesus a lunatic too?

They want smart women out of the workforce so we can’t compete with them anymore. Full stop.

WTF? This is insane. It feels like we switched over into another (bizarre) simulation.

Glad to see you on Bluesky! I live in downtown L.A. and was disappointed, but not surprised, to see #45 trying to make this disaster political.

I saw that clip. The people seemed so disoriented. 😔

I’ve lived in L.A. for the last 4 years, after living in some other big cities in the US. L.A. is the friendliest place I have lived.

I’m originally from northeast Ohio. I remember long, frigid, snowy winters. It snowed some years by Columbus Day. I’m only 43.

Is he smart enough to come up with that?

I’m a Democrat, but if Liz Cheney ran for President, I’d vote for her.

I can’t watch CNN anymore. This dude has no shame. Jimmy Carter deserves every accolade, not this foolishness.

In school, I think we were taught that the war of 1812 was fought against the “British” versus “Canada”.

In reading Joan’s memoirs, etc., it actually seemed like she upheld traditional gender roles. She also criticized “The Women’s Movement” as being petty IIRC. I don’t see her as a feminist (other than that she was a female journalist when most were men).

Evangelicals don’t care about women. They don’t give 2 sh*ts that young women and girls were exploited.

I agree - in that case, I think Pelosi did the right thing.

I’ve been vegetarian for 7 years, but chicken was the hardest meat for me to give up. I still miss Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuits, barbecued chicken sandwiches, and chicken tacos.

All of this, except for the “Dumb and Dumber” and “Beavis & Butthead” slander following the highlighted paragraph. Those are masterpieces!

I lived in the south for many years before moving to the west coast. This is accurate. When I lived in Georgia, I was shocked talking to my fellow white women - usually white collar professionals - who basically vote GOP no matter what.

That says a lot about America, unfortunately. 😔
