…finally late night fun back on board the Alien franchise. Alien: Romulus. Oh dear. My only key concern (there are many) is they might want to make Alien: Remus…and what the fuck are they doing with the spirit of Ian Holm!? You could definitely hear me scream…Nooooo!!!!! #filmsky #filmreview #movies

…but it was solid enough. Next up was American Fiction. The first time viewing - finally. Wow. What a beautiful film. Concepts of race subtly flow through the narrative structure, whilst also providing the key pd. Writing, acting, emotion, humor all executed perfectly. A sweet, clever movie…#filmsky

I’ll read anything with a title character Swirly Ploof. Most excellent.

In the menu go to moderation and you can control your own algorithm by adding words or themes you don’t want to see, mute accounts, block accounts, and enable/disable adult content. I’ve added a whole ‘no crypto’ thing and it works so far but occasionally an asshole gets through.

Good news at last! I finally (self) published a poetry pamphlet or chapbook as they say stateside. It’s called ‘Melancholia I have known’. I gave a copy to my wife but I see she’s left it on the kitchen table. Probably for the best as I had intended to sign it first. Maybe next time. #PoetsOnBluesky

Then my neighbour offered to buy my house, out of the blue, but quite timely and not necessarily a bad option. I’ve got my eye on this finca in the mountains near Granada. It needs some work, but don’t they all? I worry that the dog would miss her friends. I worry about many things. #PoetsOnBluesky
