I hope Trump voters understand that they've destroyed all progress we've made in the past 50 years or so. This is all on you.

This is very f'ing bad.

A boundary is becoming prominent on satellite. Likely that our prefrontal storms may fire and attach themselves to this boundary. Could be a problem for eastern AR into KY/TN/MS. #ARwx #KYwx #TNwx #MSwx

Myanmar's military junta responded with another round of airstrikes to impacted areas... oh man, humanity...

This is the *first time ever* that SPC highlighted an area of at least a significant hail on the West Coast... and it's for Oregon and Washington of all places. #ORwx #WAwx

DOGE has attacked life-saving programs, including: -Malaria & HIV/AIDS prevention -NOAA forecasting & FEMA disaster response -USDA food safety -FAA aviation safety -FDA flu vaccine research This will result in needless suffering — all to pave the way for billionaire tax cuts.

Woa. Water was the leading cause of deaths from #Helene, but this was eye catching. @NHC_Atlantic: Helene’s winds are responsible for 65 of the direct deaths the most direct wind deaths from any tropical cyclone in the continental United States going back to at least 1963

I'm reading the #Helene report from @NHC_Atlantic, and it's a treasure trove of data and statistics. Here's an interesting fact. When it made landfall in florida, it was moving at 27 knots (~31 mph). It may not seem like a lot, but it is. t.co/BvWd87SXgn

NHC released Tropical Cyclone Report on Hurricane Helene and it's a HUGE report at over 100 pages. Some really staggering facts and maps in there. #NCwx

It's crazy to see GOES-16 retiring already. It was a game changer back when I was in college a decade ago.

Yup. As a rural broadband GIS mapping technician... this man threatened the industry by taking all rural broadband fundings away unless they give him a BIG piece of the pie.

We still have nocturnal phase of this event to go. Doesn't look good for central-east Alabama next few hours. #ALwx

Can clearly see the debris fallout from the first Tylertown area tornado. Second Tylertown area tornado is about to overlap the damage path from the first tornado, too. #MSwx

Tight couplet with the ongoing TORE supercell heading toward Bassfield area (the site of 2020 EF-4) #MSwx

This one is a quick, more concise video reviewing everything that is going on with today's major tornado outbreak over Alabama/Mississippi. This is also more viewer friendly video than last night's video... hope y'all enjoy this one -> www.youtube.com/watch?v=WobH...

Might be a slightly later start with dynamics still arriving, but everything seems to be on track for a significant severe weather event over MS/AL. These cells in far SW MS and E LA are ones to watch with better EML over them to limit the convection until better environment. #MSwx #ALwx

A slight expansion of high risk into NE MS and NW AL. Some ominious words with the initial D1 discussion. #MSwx #ALwx

Tonight felt impossible to keep up with storms in Missouri and Arkansas. Had 9 PDS tornado warnings at one point. #MOwx #ARwx
