I don't remember how I reacted, it was a long time ago, and I was much more junior then. But now? Holy cow I would call that out in anything but, like, an investor call or something.
Folks, just don't take extra effort for granted.

But man, the first time that happened they said "so we can do that every week moving forward, right?"
That one didn't just disrespect me, or QA, but also engineering. We all worked damn hard to hit that goal and that output was NOT sustainable. Even joking like that was totally inappropriate.

Yes, it's usually in a context where it's addressing people not directly involved in the work, and I don't air morale impacting corrections like that, and if it's in a direct conversation I don't let them gloss over that.

This snap shot has some of this energy from The Critic:
"Debutante balls are outdated, elitist and sexist. You said so yourself in your review of boyz n the hood."
"Yeah, I was really off on a tangent that day."

I was just joking about the "california cheeseburger" with my wife a few weeks ago.

To be clear, that's not sarcasm. I love zombocom. A world without it would be just a little darker.

Steamed Hams was never the stand out skit to me. My problem for a full throated support for another is that I can't really pick out one. The episode really is an embarrassment of riches.

Your shorts are one of the little bright spots these days.
Entertaining, positive, and neat trivia.
If I were one to watch streams, I’d join yours.

With the possible exception of multiplayer things. Exploiting there negatively impacts other users, so the context is different.

Souls games are difficult, and so I figure any exploit I can find as a player is fair game. Don't hate on me for outsmarting the over powered zombie that can't go past this line. I'm going to keep hitting it with arrows from safety if I need to.

Screw limiting play to "the correct way"
The game is my playground and I'll play how I want.
There may be an "intended" way by the creators, but the only goal is to have fun.
Nuts, limiting to "the correct way" would murder the whole speed running scene.

Good lord, this feels like a bigger step toward re-creating territories than Billy Corgan's managed so far.

I enjoy Mentour Pilot's videos exploring airline incidents...
but I don't think we need to be giving them more material like this.

Yeah, but that's hard, and risky. It's easier to throw money at it and make a "better" version of something that's already proven.
You know, like Concord, or Starfield.

Perhaps one of the big differences there is that multiverse stories have a harder requirement that the audience knows other stuff, whereas other storylines can put in those links as more supplementary and not as required. Easier for each installment to stand on its own.

And Essa Rios.
I always remember a bit in the back with Kurt Angle saying "Essa Rios? You still work here? Good for you!"

Considering how long he was with the WWE, AND that he was the onboarding for Lita, I'd say it's a little surprising he only had the one.

Geez, I didn't realize he was THAT inexperienced!
Then it's a minor miracle no one got crippled or killed.
Anyway, the most notorious injury was Taker's, and Mabel was in the MoD later. Means Taker didn't match against him, but I'd expect Taker would put his foot down if he thought he was dangerous.

While he was known for hurting people in his initial run, you don't stick around for as long as he did without getting past that. I don't recall any stories of him being unusually sloppy, careless, or dangerous at any point after that initial run.
