And each branch has to be individually added and fluffed. I used to love doing it, but it was just too much to even think about this year.
I think my tree is over the top to make up for not being able to celebrate holidays as a kid.

I bought myself a 3 foot one and put it on top of a lil fake fireplace. Grabbed all the kids' homemade ornaments, and a short string of multicolored light.
I didn't have the energy, or the help, for the 9 footer this year.

Pretty much all I see when I look in the mirror are the flaws, but my husband likes it all, so that's enough for me.

I put my boys in swim lessons cause I knew I needed them to be able to save themselves. I need to get over this fear and do the same for myself.

Hit the bathroom, get your sandwich and a rice krispie treat and be out.

I think my siblings and I did well making sure our kids grew up together. Some of my fave memories involved having a house full of kids.
I hope they will be able to keep some of that closeness when we are gone.

Wish I would have figured that out much earlier in life. Wasted way too much time on folks that didn't deserve even a minute of it.

The first time I heard it was on the TV show Glee. It was so beautiful I ended up going to see the musical.

Yes. I bought purple, blue & red, and exchange based on what I'm wearing, or to match my suitcase if I'm traveling.
Switching them out is easy because I bought a purse insert on Etsy. I move it instead of repacking each bag.

How tf did you find my address?

I started Caste a few days ago. I love how she doesn't sugar coat anything. Within a page and a half you know exactly what's gonna be addressed.

I wanna talk about favorite conspiracy theories and what life experiences made you the person you are. I get bored with talking just to fill awkward space. If you aren't gonna be authentic, get outta my face.

Can't do it. Clothes feel like they strangling me. I gotta be free. My thick blanket and heating pad on my feet keep me warm enough.

Oh yes. That was must see TV for me when it was out. I rarely make it through an entire run of a show, but I didn't miss an episode of that one.

Surface & Invasion. Both were supernatural. Both started in 2005, and only lasted one season.

Those were my best memories with my 1st husband. Our weekends would be Pizza Hut, Blockbuster Video, and his Nintendo 64 (yep, I'm that old). I loved all the battles & the storylines, but do not hand me the controller, cause if I get scared it flies across the room.

I agree. Almost didn't stick around because what was that? Eventually found my way home.

I type, then delete. Then type, then delete. Maybe one day I'll let a thought fly and see what happens, but today is not that day.

They didn't want us joining theirs, so we made own. Then when they saw that our shit was better, they would get jealous and burn it down.

Mine is up, because my son who has autism moved out. He wouldn't let me put it up until December, cause that's Christmas time. I'm bout to hear his mouth when he's home for Thanksgiving though.

My favorite part of decorating the tree is putting on all the ornaments they made through their school years. They are 19 & 16 now, so I won't get anymore, but I'll always have these.

I do. Was raised in a religion that didn't let us celebrate holidays, but once I left I started doing it for my kids. I wanted them to get a little of the magic I missed as a child.
