I listened to @samsteindc.bsky.social interview, one of many who got fired after taking the fork in the road offer. It is heartbreaking. I get why more aren't coming forward but I hope they do so more wrongful termination cases can be brought. How much money is enough for these oligarchs?

I think it's because any legislation they bring just gets tabled and binned. The GOP is not interested in what's best for Americans but only in what's best for the Cheeto. It's a sad state we live in these days and I hope the resistance gets stronger from EU allies and we keep the court cases going.

As someone who must move back to the US and has a liver transplant (from acute liver failure), I'm genuinely petrified I won't be able to afford my anti-rejection medication with the cuts this administration is proposing! It shouldn't be this way for every day Americans to just want to stay alive.
