Drug testing focuses on 'healthy', middle aged caucasian males. They don't want adolescents or women because they don't want their studies to be thrown off by hormones.
I suspect that most researchers haven't even thought that neurodivergent people might metabolize drugs differently...

I made the mistake of talking about my childhood trauma...in a space where I thought my mother wasn't (she was eavesdropping). She demanded an apology (not happening) & my children, my spouse and I haven't been invited for Christmas since.

So many autistic children are groomed to be 'good', meaning obedient & compliant. I'm not sure their parents are realizing the depth of the conditioning and how it sets us up for abuse as adults, but the 'practitioners' who provide those services do. Its the feature, not a bug.
