Some federal workers are going back to work. The USDA has been ordered to temporarily give over 5,000 workers their jobs back. Dozens of CDC scientists have been reinstated after being illegally fired. The National Science Foundation has rehired half of the workers it fired.

Federal workers choose public service to serve our people, but the Trump administration wants to traumatize them. We need cancer researchers, forest service firefighters, nuclear safety experts, VA nurses and food safety inspectors. We don’t need Elon Musk, whatever his job is.
