There was that whole revolution thing and some of my ancestors may have said or written some rather nasty things about the crown. Not really A big deal but i hear monarchies are not big on letting bygones be bygones

Maybe. But there might still be some resentment on their side about the actions of a few of my ancestors in the late 1700s.

The next time I go over to the UK (assuming they’ll let us in) I have to make a stop there.

Kids have already forgotten which goal is theirs. And one kid got tired and just ran off the field for a sack.

2 teams. 8 kids total. Somehow 3 balls ended up in field. What could go wrong?

Time for scrimmage. I have no idea what to expect.

She may not be the quickest but my kid can absolutely knock people down. I’m envisioning her playing the enforcer role.
Wait. One of the other parents told me there are not enforcers in under 6 rainbow soccer? What the fuck!
We’re raising a nation of squibs!

Thinking to myself - sorry she can’t have the goldfish. She can’t have dairy. But I can!
Would it be frowned upon to ask her to bring me her share of the communal goldfish snack?
Yes
Oh…. Ok

Oh no. One kid went too fast before the others were ready. We have a 12 car pileup on the field!!!

Oh wow. They’re shooting at the goal already.
My kid missed the goal. Several time. Ok. No big deal. It’s her first time kicking a soccer ball at a target.
I’m a terrible dad obviously.
No wait. She’s laughing and having a ball. Woooo!!!

Ok. Snack break!
Me: oh shit. I brought snacks for her for the car ride over and the ride home. Crap. I’m the worst dad ever!
Crisis averted. She’s not hungry! Just wants some water.
Dad is back to being on top! Woo

I’m curious about this enthusiasm they displayed. Most Canadians I’ve known have been kind, caring, polite and generous but with a pinch of “you don’t want to find out”. I’m searching now.

Outraged by Jan 6, he spent two years getting inside the top ranks of militias like the Oath Keepers. He was stunningly successful. He penetrated a new generation of militia leaders, which included doctors, cops & government attorneys.
This is his story. www.propublica.org/article/ap3-...

The d/SEC-SPN is going to promote the SEC and dook no matter what. A bigger issue is that the rest of the ACC has no interest in getting better but only in dragging UNC down. The sooner we can get out of this crap conference the better.
