Congratulations on 37 years of better decisions (and good times!) <3!

Congratulations on 15 years of wedded bliss! You guys are so clearly good to / for / with each other, and I'm so happy you get to spend these years together <3 <3 <3!

Some of each? Or B, if I must choose.

<3 <3 (So much, sending you big ups for persevering and doing your job and taking care of yourself and your people - it's a LOT)

Omnomnom (and you didn't even have to visit the other attractions). Much deserved ice cream!

That is one "Life of Riley" doggo - so much good care and love! (wait, you don't still have snow, do you? <3).

Wait... YOU saying something is too much incest?!

I love this whole story, so great, and my favorite part is that it was Willow that did it for you. I'm embarrassed to say my friends and I liked it even better than Real Genius for quite awhile (of course we did). So glad Val helped you become a BNF <3.

Me: And she's... somehow related to... pregnant elf Blair? G: Uh...? Me: Y'no, who was partners with couch-fucker? G: JD Vance??? Me: No, y'no, Fiona Apple's half-brother? G: OH! Garett! (And then we laughed and laughed). Also, she was great in The Annihilation of Fish with James Earl Jones. (2/2)

Wow, gorgeous! Great colors and lovely design, must feel great in silk. Your knitting is always so impressive <3.

Pretty sure I remember that part of The Big Woods where Laura has to sneak around a bear to wrastle her own yogurts out of the new orchard... (says who someone who absolutely used to yell to their mom for stuff from a room away, soo...).

Does a mama Never check her phone as her children wither away? There's something extra good about having just been reading about ancestors' troubles traveling by covered wagon right before I saw this. The horses done run off and mama never checks her texts to see about my yogurt needs!

My husband just responded with, "A woman must have 500 Praetorian guards and a Rome of her own". :/. I just finished _Remarkably Bright Creatures_ and re-started a Jesmyn Ward. Oh no, now he's singing the B-52s, "Rome, if you want to..."

I'd heard that Gen X are nostalgic parents, but Actual Pizza Hut and a bunch of that furniture could be had for a lot less money. On the other hand, I remember the computers of the time costing Thousands. So I guess they're historical Deals? 😬

Booo, so sorry! Here's to quick healing and not too much inconvenience!

I mean, if it starts asking about greek letters And werewolves... I'll suspect a fangirl works there :D.

Sometimes Finch makes Weird discoveries - I think my birb was exploring Rome when it discovered some silly America show? But I appreciated having it learn about werewolves!

Ugh, I guess gift articles only work once? That's silly. Here's a second in the hopes it works for you. wapo.st/4buoiLX

Heh, I've had this conversation about Jennifer Connelly and Labyrinth with several women... all entirely in fannish contexts.

Absolutely blinds and curtains open during the day! I only use the blinds because we're on the first floor. Back when I lived on the third my blinds almost never got used. Don't like sheers, gotta get that sunlight!

There's a (radio) country song called "Buy Dirt" meant to be about buying land, with a line about how "they're not making any more of it". I recently desired a vid with people buying potting soil and/or composting and then looking confused about "not making more of it". Yay, compost!

Also really enjoyed the coast of Anglesey (but don't stay in Holyhead), especially geology and coast around South Stack Lighthouse. Castles (we went to Caenarfon) were...fine, but coast was spectacular. Big Pit was great. We climbed in Brecon Beacons, I'd choose Snowdonia now that I've seen both.

Agreed on a meal at Ynyshir, you'll appreciate the goth, tho it's loud and definitely a prescribed "experience", I forgave it all of that cuz it was Wow. Stayed the night (as did most), expensive highlight. Coast near the dyffi (mouth of nearby river) was pretty, less cliffy than others).

My take away was free health care for all! (and, oy, people).

Oooh, I saw a cute cute pic of you with that pixie cut the other day - I should go through my pics and send you a few cute ones of you and your wife. I sometimes miss my shortest hair, but then I wonder if I Really miss my youthfulness that went with it. I dunno! Luckily we have good options!

I went to Wusong Friday and it was good, but this looks far superior. Mugs and ice and (almost assuredly better) service! :D. Yum!

Apparently it may contain anti-Ukraine Russian propaganda? I'm guessing he might not be big into international politics, but I'm all for starving bullies, and train unboxing videos are great :D.

Earlier today I was asked if I wanted to go to a poetry reading. That turned into walking into Harvard Square for yummy Venezuelan food with friendly acquaintances and a Jam-Packed (they said it was the most packed Ever there) poetry reading in English and Spanish. Unexpected good food and art FTW!

The CA landscapes were lovely, lots of mountains, coast, and desert. I also loved that So Many doggos were wearing coats, though it was always over 50 degrees when we saw them. 65 degrees? Put a coat on the labradoodle, honey, it's So Very Wintry!

I recently went to an allergist and was shocked to find that, sure, I was allergic to cats and dogs, but the Only other thing I was allergic to was dust mites. I understood that I had seasonal allergies forEver, but wrong. Weird! I hope you figure out what your allergies are and manage them well!

That decoration looks like it would be tough to get it to stay up and not droop - ie, much trickier than it looks. Can't wait to see it fired!

Ok, I was gonna be all, "um, uh, WHUT???" but then I saw you reference dandelions and had a faint memory jog. So I guess I'd have said you were the weird one, then revised if you said, "y'no, dandelions???" so... both totally normal :D.

That's extra hilarious in that my fitbit frequently doesn't detect my outdoor bikerides. I thought it was because I often go slow and not far, but I guess if it can get a bikeride out of snowblowing, that's not it. Still, looks like you got exercise with your cleared drive, so WIN all around!

I watched it yesterday on the plane (it Absolutely deserves a bigger screen). I have a few quibbles with the dialog and plot, but they are minor compared to the jewel of everything else. Recommend!

You can go from Grover to Sam the Eagle in seconds flat - I'd be intimidated, too! <3. Nobody wants to know what Animal would do when confronted with flagrant malfeasance :D.
