Southern Sweden was part of Denmark for a long time. They still speak a dialect that sounds a lot like Danish to an unfamiliar ear (and still have an island off the south tip of Sweden that is part of Denmark). Norway and Denmark have even longer lasting ties as the same country

Even if he is advanced in age it's unusual for players of this kind of stature to come to the northeast of Brazil, which is still thought of as less desirable than other parts of the country. Fortaleza are breaking a lot of barriers with their success of the last few years. Could be a door opener
