I know it’s a lot to ask of anyone right now to give, we are all in a bad way with financial certainty seeming like a found memory. If you don’t have $5 to spare I’ve been there, just share the link it helps just as much

The 26% left to close out the gofundme will allow me to cover April’s monthly expenses, pick up my med refills and the copays for another month of intensive PHP mental health treatment for PTSD

All from an accident that I had no control over and has left me forever damaged and with enough PTSD to make Gary Beusy look like a Rouge Scholar
The surgery will at least give me somewhat use of my right arm again

What saddens me most of all is there are so few fire performers left because of the danger involved. It’s a dying art.
My retirement doesn’t just mean a loss of more than 60% of my income, it means there’s also less of a chance that people will see a fire breather live in their lifetime now

And again at the annual Lanier Law Firm fall employee party attempting to set a world record
I missed it by a few inches but still an impressive fireball

Here’s an update
Surgery on the shoulder is now going to be a combination replacement and rotator cuff rebuild which means sadly, Capt Scurvy will be sailing off into the sunset.
I can’t safely perform as a fire spinner and fire breather with the loss of mobility

I feel like if someone decided to play a prank at a Kid Rock show and show up in a white van mark DCPS there the crowd would scatter in a flash

Hitting the goal won’t cover everything due between now and when my recoveries done but it will keep the lights on, meds refilled and food in the fridge

If you are in a position to help great. If not, that’s okay! Sharing the link helps just as much. Still have a long road ahead recovery wise but trying to take it day by day as best I can

Same with a TBI. Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean I’m not suffering

I have to remind myself daily that just because I’m good enough to talk myself into doing the bad thing doesn’t mean I have to do the bad thing, I can say no to myself even when I’m being really hard to do that to

There’s also a different feeling you get enjoying a show you waited 2 days in line sleeping in a tent outside of a ticket booth window to get decent seats before it sold out

On the bright side, being the property of Pasadena Villa every day till 3 pm means I only have to worry about what half the day outside will be like
I miss seasons
And dragonflies. Is it too early still? I feel like I’ve seen them around this time in the past but none this year

I’m in an intensive DBT based PHP therapy program for 19 weeks and I love all the sayings I’m learning that are worded similar to this that I never thought to use before
Thanks for a new one to add to the list!
