Okay.. as a sped teacher I can tell you that 504s are abused by parents gaming the system for their children. Extra time on assessments or testing with breaks is the big one. I'm not saying 504s shouldn't exist, but it would help to limit what a 504 covers.

So true, but I can answer the question. There isn't a shortage of engineers.. there aren't engineers who want to work 80 hours weekly that musk demands for lower salaries. Just like the trumps can't find farm workers for their vineyard here. No one can live on the low hourly wage that they offer.
