So. It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year. I’ll be ok. But please understand that many worked HARD to get into these positions and were doing great public health work.

My son has two African dwarf frogs in our 40 gallon community tank named (strangely for African frogs) Tokyo and Kyoto. They stress me out. Seen here the last time they actually found their food before the fish did (a rare thing) and one is still facing the wrong way, oblivious.

I took a tablespoon of MCT oil. Bottle did warn that it might be “beneficial” to begin with 1 tsp because of the chance of “digestive upset” which it did not explain in detail. I thought, it’s coconut oil, how bad can it be? It should’ve read “clear your schedule, your bowels now belong to Satan.”
