In 2009 I was undiagnosed & unmedicated after 20 years of bipolar treatment. My insights: You feel what you think, as you think it, whether it's true or not Thoughts come & go, feelings follow in tow Struggling prolongs stuckness Instead of concentrate & focus, relax & notice DMs open...

Messing with you? Sounds more like the Universe is conspiring on your behalf (aka pronoia).

Perhaps you found the witness or observer perspective. This is often what people want from meditation, though it is always available so techniques are unnecessary. Keep watching your thoughts and experiences. You’re not them. You are the watcher of them.

Is that similar to a pet rock or would you lichen it to something else?

One thing about building community is it requires other people so you literally can't do it yourself. What kind of community would you like to be part of building and what role would you love to play?

I like this question and never saw it before. Makes me wonder if amateurs deserve pronouns and how to get the full value of a participle?

Studying Vietnamese, currently via a thesaurus to focus on similar words differentiated by connotation. Created a spreadsheet showing one English word in a merged cell beside multiple rows, one per synonym and its context. Sometimes it's one VN word to multiple English words.

I relate in many contexts. I don't expect to get everything everyone does or says. But it seems what people do or say is based on what makes sense or seems true to them, even if it doesn't make sense or seem true to me. People are just doing their best given their thinking. I accept them w/o judging

Good read, thanks for sharing. This adds an element to understanding what I have long called inherent uncertainty. We are being intentionally divided based on what we believe is true. The methods for this are insidious.

Your infinite storytelling supply is always available. You only ever feel the narrator's perspective. You are the producer, director, writer, star, narrator, & only audience for the story you invent & treat as true, NOW. And NOW. And NOW... Humans feel our thoughts as we think them, only always.

When you think of your experience as failure, of course it hurts. When you think of making the world better, of course it feels more like you matter. This thought/feeling relationship describes all humans. It's not about NT/ND. Understanding this is key to emotional regulation. Want help? DMs open.

You mention using instinct like it's bad. I aspire to use instinct as much as possible! I want to say whatever is fresh in the moment, not rely on memory or ideally any thinking at all. If this comes naturally for you, I don't understand why you call it a problem. Will you please say more? Tks 🙏

I noticed a lot of mustaches and mullets, which had been popular in the US in the 1980's. I also learned the word bogan.

Late Jan 2020, I got to Melbs planning to stay 30 days. That became 3 years due to Covid. Made quite a list of nuances between my native US Eng & Aussie Eng. Never assimilated enough to be Melbourne AF 😆 OK, though, because there they love the incomplete simile. "Wild as..." "Sexy as..." WTF? 😂

We are simply infinite, often pretending not to be. You can't count to infinity, but you can count on it. Your infinite simplicity supply is always available. Infinite complexity too. Simplicity is only as complicated as you make it. You can always simplify.

Good milestone, Martin. I had one this week too when I got a joke made in Vietnamese. Here's another awesome taxi story for you, from Saigon too! bsky.app/profile/dong...

Yeah, naw, mate. You could totally spend years teaching the Australian o sound because that's how long it takes to pronounce when you make NO more than a one syllable word. FFS, ya dag. Crikey. 😆

Vietnamese - Tôi từng nghĩ đến việc ăn chay nhưng tôi đã ăn thuần chay được mười lăm năm rồi. English - I was thinking about becoming vegetarian but I've been vegan for fifteen years already.

Is it more like when your mail order bride turns out to be a blow up doll or when your Red Ryder Carbine-action 200-shot Range Model Air Rifle shoots your eye out? Asking for a metaphorical friend.

How do you hold yourself accountable for ruthless #honesty? If that could be #simpler, would you want to discover how? Let's talk... 5/END (or just the beginning?)

And from there it looks #simple... When I'm with people, it seems obviously true we are one #infinite being. When I'm alone and not being #honest with myself I pretend I'm not infinite. We all do this, at times, in our own ways. The purpose of my work is making this simple to see. 4/

It's #simple for me to see I create my own experience. Lately I've noticed depth of #connection in many #relationships, offline & online. NOW, while writing, I see the time I've recently enjoyed deep connection includes only #honesty. Depth of Connection is my top love language. My #love is true! 3/

For years I've aspired to hold myself accountable for being more honest with myself - ruthless honesty. I want to experience this more #simply. I believe this takes care of itself when I spend less time alone. It's not ruthlessly honest to be an #extrovert living an #introverted lifestyle. 2/

The Kingsmen version of Louie Louie above is surely the most famous but did you know this is the original version? www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-2C...

I'm curious if you see masking as synonymous with adjusting, or if masking can be one of various ways people adjust?

I'm not saying he lacks the capability to think. I'm saying he's selling BS, unconcerned if his pitch makes sense. Making noise instead of signal is a feature not a bug. He's following a familiar linguistic template of fascist tradition. Seen this way (or not) influences response.

Anybody can test this anytime with their own experience so you don't have to believe me. It can seem tricky but is actually #simple once you realize it for yourself. Circumstances don't cause feelings, only thinking does that. HMU if you want to explore this more closely. 4/4

We are always capable of looking at experiences in multiple ways. How we look at (think about) it creates our emotional response. We don't always notice but this is the #NatureOfThought, creating emotions but blaming situations. This understanding is key to emotional regulation. 3/4

Health (or other) issues do not *inherently* induce anxiety, no matter how often they occur. Ex: I used to freak out if I accidentally ate nuts b/c I'd have an allergic reaction. I learned to overcome the allergy. Now I can eat some nuts, but others upset my tummy. I just don't panic about it. 2/4

Sam, I've been following you for a few weeks. Your posts are always clear & concise. Well done you! As you suggest here, sometimes patients experience #anxiety (or #fear, or worse) in response to doctors. The #nocebo effect is real & #iatrogenesis is measurably bad. However... 1/4

‪@sophie1982.bsky.social‬ is the burnout a recurring thing for you? Does it center around emotional dysregulation? Can I offer you a supportive place to explore this further?

I say this to be provocative, but not confrontational. My aim is to engage with people who identify with or as ND but who also struggle with feeling limited by this model. Discovering through experience that you're simply infinite reveals currently hidden superpowers.
comment in response to post
This shows an inherent flaw in the NT/ND finite one dimensional #spectrum model. There is neither a single point from which all divergence occurs, nor a limit to the variations of divergence. Infinite potential diversity says #neurounique is a more accurate, empowering, & liberating paradigm.
