But the question is since the building doesn’t have an owner, it’s a place they meet, so who will pay the taxes? Everyone coming there already pay taxes and some personal property taxes. They don’t have a business tax number because they’re not a business. The church building has no owner but God.

The people he is referring to is the Mormons not the Catholic Church (people). Traditional churches are not bring in what the Mormons bringing in and/or have the same beliefs.

You know the Mormon church is not part of the traditional church, right. Apples and Oranges in comparison. Also the Traditional church (people fellowshiping) already pay taxes. The traditional church is not a business it’s a group of people worshipping anywhere they can. Mormons got their own ways

Do you know most churches (the people) are renting their buildings and/or use parks and rec buildings. Also he’s say to tax the church which is the people. And they are already being taxed.

Everyone in church already pay taxes. So you saying tax them twice because they have a meeting in a building. Now you can say tax the leader of the church (people). But I’m pretty sure their already paying taxes.

You trying to make something out of nothing. If you read the Bible you will see that the church is the people gathering together. I guess AA meeting need to pay taxes and report the donuts and coffee bought for meeting. Somebody had to donate the money for it, so AA meetings need to be taxed.

Monetary income a direct income that retrieves from direct business operations. I repeat the church is the people that fellowship together and not a business and/or the building. Also donations are offerings to help the church grow, people in need, and pay bills because electricity is not free.

You know the church is not a company, right… but it’s a group people gathering together to have church in a building or outside anywhere they can fellowship. So to say tax the church is idiotic because the church, which is the people not the building or a company, are already paying taxes.
