Well that's what food tastes like when people *insist* on putting coriander on everything so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I want one. Obviously I'd never use it because all I do is lie on the sofa reading novels. But I still appreciate canny engineering.

I recall one caller who managed to actually name a law he wanted to be free of. It was about the size of hand towels although the caller couldn't say whether he felt they were too big or too small
comment in response to post
Private parking charges used to be largely unenforceable provided you kept your nerve and ignored their threats. The law was changed ostensibly to give more protection and clarity to drivers but it was just a way to bolster the industry and give it more powers IMO

Don't remember Jesus saying there was a hierarchy of humans tbh

I'm autistic and I don't know when I'm breaking a social rule. That's kind of the whole point of my autism, defining even.

Having to watch your hero from a shitty hotel room cos you ain't invited to the party isn't the flex he thinks it is

If a business is unviable it goes under. That's capitalism. I'm sure the proponents of paying for education fully support capitalist principles so I'm lost as to why this is a problem for them.

Someone once tried to say his Say Hello, Wave Goodbye was better than Soft Cell's and I felt enraged. Still not over it now

Tbf if you've been bitten by a rabid animal, you're going to die. The vaccines won't save you then.

Cringing so hard at this I think I've put my jaw out. Great alt text, btw.

I'm gen X and I see this with people around me. We've had it easy but don't realise we have. Settling into middle age feeling entitled and disgruntled. Spending too much time on shite like facebook and twatter. FFS people, resist this.

It's to stop me biting my stitches and so far seems effective

... wearing 36 watches up each arm, carrying three phones all with multiple alarms set and 14 post-it notes stuck to your head with appt details on them. Probably not, tbf

The world doesn't *seem* like that, it *is* like that.

And actually, skin conditions characterised by overgrowth such as callouses, corns, psoriasis, warts, eczema etc. can be very distressing and uncomfortable/painful so why on earth would you want that?? NTs are *weird*

A support group for autistic people? Like they all sit around *in a group* talking about being autistic?? Seems... not very autistic

I can't ever remember not knowing how to read. Even in my earliest memories, words and letters made perfect sense. I could read well before I went to school. I asked my parents how I learnt and they said 'you just looked at the words and said them'

It's always worth checking with your GP that they made the referral. I've been waiting 26 months. I get an email from the assessor every six months saying I'm still on the list. It varies enormously from region to region.

'What should I do about *this*?' 'Oh, just use your initiative' No. Please tell me what you require so that I don't waste everyone's time producing something that doesn't fit your brief because you didn't think it important to tell me what that brief actually is.

This utterly transfixed me when I saw it. It draws you in and you want to know its story

And fewer than those 55 were as a result of the vaccine; they just coincidentally followed it
comment in response to post
Well, it is a genuine question and I'm very tired of it being used as mere social lubricant. If the NTs don't want to know how I am, then they can just say 'hi'. They don't need to ask a question then act bored/surprised/irritated when I actually answer

It's almost like small state ideology is bad. But hey, massively underinvesting in support services means there's more money to syphon off to the billionaires. So that's good

But that's literally why it is a success. It was never about prosperity. The financial harm was never in doubt which is why economic arguments are pointless. 'It's made the country poorer' 'So what' they say 🤷🏻‍♀️

Please don't foist your disordered eating habits on neurodivergent people. It's not healthy for *anyone* to consume only water and coffee for three days. You need help
