I wondered what goes on in my parents’ dog’s mind when she’s playing fetch and watching the ball/frisbee flying towards her. I will absolutely bring this up at the next family reunion to see how everyone reacts.

I was going to reply with a funny zinger, then I found your comment and decided to give up because I wasn’t going to top it. I tip my hat off to you, friend.

if Kilmar is not home by midweek – I plan to travel to El Salvador this week to check on his condition and discuss his release,” People want action, this is action. This is the highest form of doing something www.vanhollen.senate.gov/news/press-r...

Not my current WIP, but Marigold is a rich hype girl. She’s sheltered and naive due to her upbringing, but she adores her friends and idolizes the ship captain she apprentices for. She’s down for trying anything new, even if it gets her into trouble. I’m having a lot of fun brainstorming her story.

It is critical that everyone calls New York Governor Kathy Hochul today and tell her that you oppose any mask ban in New York State: 518-474-8390

I’ve always thought Robin Hood was more folklore than fairy tale, but then again it’s not like I know the difference 😅 I think my favorite is Beauty and the Beast, as a lot of different kinds of people can relate to it for different reasons.

If anyone else had done what Musk and his goons did at the Treasury, they would be in prison right now. The fact that he hasn’t been arrested yet is what’s pissing me off the most right now.

The only thing evil needs to succeed is for good people to do nothing. As long as there are good people doing something, there’s always hope.

Not all heroes wear capes. Sometimes they wear park ranger uniforms. You got us this far.

I just read a scene in a book the other night, and man was it a feast for the senses! It touched on everything the character was feeling through all five senses, and I loved every moment of it

In the words of my favorite Ted Danson character, “this is a real low point. Yeah, this one hurts.”

I’m reading You Made a Fool of Death With Your Beauty. It’s an unconventional love story that took a direction I wasn’t expecting, and yet the turn made total sense when I stopped to think about it.

That’s fair.

Can’t it be both?

I've been talking a lot lately about following a potluck model for resistance. For a potluck meal, the goal is to gather food for people to eat. If everybody brings 3-bean salad, that's not a successful meal. BUT if a couple people bring entrees, a few other people bring veggies....

Awesome, thanks for clarifying!

I’m curious about this too

I didn’t get any writing done in 2020 for this very reason. If I get anything written in the next few years, it won’t be because of bad times inspiring me to write more.
