You do realize vaccinations are available in other countries and have rates comparable to the US?

My guess is they will run all the emails thru a chat bot and decided who next to cut based on whatever keywords came up on a roulette wheel

Also, you could have a high IQ and still be ignorant
We’ve got to stop equating wealth with being smart

They need him to be a genius because they cannot handle what it means for them to be tricked by a fool.

My high schooler would be considered privileged by every measure but the price of most schools is beyond us without enormous loans or merit (we don’t qualify for financial aid). The ripple effects of reduced money will be across the board 😬. worried about how much more predatory the loans will be

So musk takes credit for other people’s innovation and he thinks that makes him an emperor? I’d say that makes him a narcissistic ninny hammer

Ugh I (unusually) already have 3 trips planned this year and driving would be…difficult (not impossible but result in more days off/single lady traveling alone)

I loathe Trump but to clarify - a lot of telehealth was tied to the COVID health emergency declaration. When that ended, a lot of provisions for it also ended. Should they extend the telehealth provisions? Yes, but this could have been addressed before Trump and it wasn’t

Oh good lord…I’m not including them in non voters and no one else does. I’m talking about registered voters who couldn’t be bothered to get off their ass and vote. Voters prohibited because of systemic reasons are exempted (2% of voters are estimated to be denied because of felonies)

Districts have nothing to do with presidential elections - it is statewide results that determine how electoral college votes are allocated except for Maine and Nebraska
Majored in poli sci so I understand it quite well! We have a winner takes all system

Gerrymandering and districts have nothing to do with the presidential election. Non voters made a conscience decision which means they were ok with whoever win - they would’ve been fine with Harris too
You’re trying to console yourself by putting them in your column and it doesn’t work that way

Younger democracies are more sensitive to risks and their citizens take care of threats
US citizens still think there is some sort of automatic trigger in the Constitution that will stop this and Trump must not be wrong if no one has stopped him 🤷♀️

non voters supported whatever the outcome was so yeah, they were ok with trump winning.
comment in response to

I’m talking about approval rating - Trump has a 49.4% approval as of today (ok a smidge below half)
And yes, the non voters signaled they were ok with any outcome by not exercising their right to vote. Realizing that supporting democracy and basic decency puts me in the minority is very jarring

FHA loans were 14% of loans last year- imagine shrinking the number of buyers by 14%.

They wouldn’t be doing this if they were concerned about future elections
