One need not consciously adopt a label for that label to be applicable. New liberals don't believe in maximally expansive concepts of private property, but they do still believe in it in a weaker form, since they do not advocate for its abolition.

Guess you're right there. Now that you told me, I do see the small but meaningful achievements - in fact, all the deceptive semblances of a safe future breaking away so rapidly is bringing more young and eager comrades in contact with our local chapter than we've seen since WWII, so there's this.

No other way to help the wavering than to stop swaying ourselves, eh... perhaps, maybe, I'm actually just being a whiny bitch right now, at least I guess that shall be my due bit of self criticism at this point.

I see lots of "well we just don't know what to do in this current moment"
That's not true.
All the answers are there.
Let's get out there.
I post links and books and resources all the time.
I answer questions all the time.
Wisdom is there for those who seek it.

Same, I also guess "outlet" isn't quite the best word here. However, to agitate non-leftists I need to float my message in the appropriate places and manners, and most leftist social media presences aren't these places, and most leftist discourse isn't these manners.

> difficulty finding outlets
Well yeah, that's part of the vicious cycle here, we're still living under capitalism after all, and since no capitalist in their right mind will throw funding at serious leftist agitprop, we gotta sell... if we don't, our outlets are bankrupt in no time.

"But the analysis is good, the theory's conclusive, why would anyone not agree..."
because you're not talking to a nation of academics, but to a nation the political education of which was done by Fox News!
It's not a facts and logics issue, it's a target group issue!
Make yourself understood!

Has it become more common though? Can't shake off the feeling that it's being used obnoxiously often lately.

Stop blaming queer people for what cis hetero fascists are doing to queer people.
Preferably also by not going "oh ew they must be gaaay"
like, the fuck.

It's funny because liberals think being gay is shameful but it's ok because they think being an ally means keeping quiet about it most of the time

Pop psych never really got over early 20th century stereotypes, yet people are fluent in therapy speak 😭

we rarely put as much effort into our words as we're actually capable of, so i think it's even more of a pleasant occurrence when for once, we finally do :3

Like come on, everyone else uses words to the effect of "immigrants". Even in the context of "illegal immigrants". "Illegal aliens" sounds like "hostile alien invaders from outer space" to everyone with a common US hillbilly's reading comprehension skills. There's no way this isn't intentional.

Yet, I've never heard it for people before... still under the impression they're using it with a certain emphasis then, like I really feel as if it wasn't as common before.
