How about him going private fast to cash in on increased funding in the OBBB to ICE for private contractors who are squarely outside of the actual military and their justice system. Would that be cynical enough for you?

From last night’s Tony acceptance speech by Nicole Scherzinger. “[I’m] so proud to represent…I want to thank my mom, who had me at 18 and gave everything up for me. My dad [and] my sister … who instilled in me an unshakable faith. My ohana, my family, all 5,000 of you. You know that I love you.”

“Some people believe the institution is taking a moral stand and living up to its values,” the faculty member says. “But others say it is signaling it doesn’t care about research.”
Using the “some people” framework is a strange example of academic rigor. Sounds like somebody didn’t get funded.

If they could just find a way to come up with a progressive sounding tax plan that puts the nation’s entire economic burden on financially independent women who won’t date idiots…but then somehow make sure they’re all Karens. That would be living the dream for dem strategists.

Just happen to know that there’s more than a few federally qualified historians who suddenly find themselves available for work right now. Won’t be all that long until they’re willing to accept the occasional honorarium, along with some resume puffery.

I just found a small electric detail sander new in box- again. It’s proof that I was convinced in the middle of the night once 20 years ago that I was going to refinish the hallway floor.
The better solution was to buy a longer carpet runner because of pet galloping.

He just wants other righties to fawn for attention so he can present his newest list of demands to them. DOGE is so last month.

This guy is a lot healthier though. The power of JD’s eyeliner won’t be enough to end Leo.

Apparently women with career goals are fooling ourselves about planning our own childbearing? And all those years when we worried about getting pregnant,we were foolish to think we had the ability to make those choices? Huh. Clearly we are just selfish elitists & should rush off to breed w somebody.

A like isn’t enough. That’s absolutely gorgeous! It’s so good I assumed it was over painted with the blossoms. Severance or UC or the orchestra should pay you a silly amount of money for that image. It should be on a year’s worth of programs or mounted in a big sparkly frame for all their events.

My part of Ohio is absolutely boringly average, so much so that we’re the test market for chain restaurants, chain stores, chains probably. But our library is awesome. Check out these happy faces at the main branch two weeks ago.

And those are just the e/books. They have 27 additional hard copies floating around central Ohio at the moment.

We’ve reached the “what the hell is this stuff hitting my windshield” part of spring. Yesterday’s wet stuff was almost gelatinous.

After two steps outdoors, I nearly got clobbered in the head by a flying bucket yesterday. Really glad that’s not the way I’m going out.

There’s been a program to trade investments for green cards since 1990. It costs a lot less than $5 million and has to be targeted at specific areas w development challenges. Opening it up at high prices without meaningful review is that special Trump twist. www.uscis.gov/working-in-t...

My portable dishwasher has been rescheduled 6 times since I ordered it from Lowe’s on New Year’s Day. You would think one that’s literally on wheels would be easier to deliver.

Ok the suspense is over. My $4.99 surprise slice turned out to be…an entire large sausage and pepperoni pizza. It’s bigger than my fridge!

Could be. It’s a surprise bag from Too Good To Go. Won’t know what’s in there until 9:30 when they hand me the box. If it’s mushroom (ick) it’s all yours.

Just pulled a 1/4 ham out of the freezer 20 minutes ago for sandwiches and cheesy potatoes and omelettes. Can’t believe you’re watching my house when it’s only 10 degrees outside. Could you scrape the windshield on your way out please?

Government “fails to explain”, “seems to suggest” and “does not support”. This does not bode well for their representation.

Single person shopping means stuff that stores long term- like shrink wrapped stack of canned salmon, tub-o-nuts, multipack of mini cartons of hash browns for weekend breakfasts, cheap meds. Also nice fruit rotation, hummus cups for snacks, danishes that freeze well, and chilled grapefruit cups.

Important not to just have one dem out front so they’re not such an obvious target. There should be a rotating team that takes this on. Let our dems compete to be most effective in their delivery and give them all a chance to show their chops.
