The final vote: 51-45, with 4 people absent.
CLOTURE FAILS, A CONGRESSIONAL SPORTS BAN WILL NOT HAPPEN.
Democrats hold firm, not a single dem voted for cloture.
MAJOR victory for everyone who called in today and this week in support of trans people.

That's actually the biggest reason this small project took the better part of a day, Adobe changed their scripting model entirely and I had to relearn it to recreate an old "delete empty frames" script I used to use. I'll send it to you on Discord!

Both of these are phrases I picked up from outside the industry from one specific friend. So, yes, technically usage has increased during time in the games industry, but no correlation.

After data merging, I ran a script to delete any empty text frames, and the results are thus: each card with its own automagically sized text box and only the paragraphs with text in them.

The final piece of the puzzle was to then group all of those text frames together and shift-drag them as a single object in-line into a sixth and final text frame. The container text frame has a fill of white, insets to keep the inner group aligned on the card, and auto-size height only upward too.

In order to get the text frames to auto-resize around each other's contents, you give all but the top one (paragraph 1) text wrap with a top buffer space. The exact buffer space depends on the font size. You have to set this last cuz moving frames around each other with text wrap on is a nightmare.

All five of the text frames are set to bottom alignment and auto size height only (upward). I thought this would take more finagling than it did, but as long as you place frames bottom to top with these options off, _then_ turn the options on once the frames are in place, they resize correctly.

The setup I ended up on is five individual text frames, one for each paragraph style—this lets you keep newlines etc in your data without the risk of the paragraph styles bleeding into each other. All of the text boxes share a bottom edge and overlap upwards.

I love this. It reminds me of some InDesign wizardry we talked about a couple years ago, so I spent yesterday trying to make this work without the need for find/change queries and landed on something that looks pretty good and manages to auto-size everything cleanly. Pics incoming.
