Might be time for a new iteration of the USA flag as well. This one’s cooked

I feel CEOs should send a company wide email every week detailing everything they did that week and justifying their salary

Union dues are based on income and go towards a war chest during strikes, to help the poorest members pay their bills and feed their kids during work stoppages. Everyone pitching in to support the ones who can’t afford to be off work for even a day creates an unignorable juggernaut

Most of that stuff happened because of unions. Time to start an American workers union, get literally tens of millions of people to join, pay dues, and immediately go on a country-wide mass strike, France-style. Shut the entire country down other than essential workers (healthcare, groceries, etc)

We’re small but mighty. And proud of our country. When Trump pretends America “subsidizes” Canada, he means American companies buy more stuff from us. That makes sense, though, when you remember we have literally 10% of the population and just simply need less stuff.

Why is a deal even an option? A real leader would stand up to Putin, get a list of demands from Ukraine, and insist that Putin do ALLLLLL of them and fuck off back to Moscow with his tail between his legs, never to leave Russia again or be immediately arrested and sent to The Hague

That part alone sounds an awful lot like Trump will just steal the rights through extortion and hand it back over to Putin. We don’t negotiate with terrorists. Period. Putin needs to be put in his place as a fucking WAR CRIMINAL, get the fuck out of Ukraine, and suffer consequences for his actions.

Zelensky giving them what they wants teaches them that they can make demands of other countries while a literal gun is at their heads. That’s not negotiating in good Faith. And the agreement says that the rights can be parted and sold off to other entities. What part of that sounds fair to Ukraine?

I watched Wayne play in Edmonton as a child. We loved and respected him. Wayne sold Canada out to MAGA. We’re not nice enough to forgive that. We’re cursing him to be shit on by a hundred cobra chickens (Canadian geese) every day until eternity.

Firing women and black people to hire less qualified white folk isn’t the meritocracy they preach (obviously) and the results will speak loudly and clearly for themselves. They just want to fuck shit up with less pushback and have more spineless weenies to take the fall when shit goes sideways

Unwillingness to place country over personal gain is one of my definitions of lack of stones.

I think it might be infectious. Might need to mask up.

Elon is very whiny for a self-claimed “masculine alpha male”. Whining is gross is adult males. It’s irritating as shit. I had a whiny kid. Told him that my ears couldn’t hear whining and refused to do anything for him unless he spoke like a big boy when he was 4. Stopped that shit real fast.

He’s nonexistent now. Our brains don’t register him anymore. He turned out to be a gold plated world class douche bag.

As a Canadian married to an American pilot, and someone who goes to school in Michigan, I find this whole situation particularly alarming. Canada needs to separate ourselves from the dependence on America as a trading and security partner. They’re unreliable dangerous extortionists

That’s not even trouble. That’s just spitting facts. Until maga start to listen and accept facts, they’ll never get out of the cult. Cults consume and subsume you. It’s like removing someone from the Borg hive.

Just so you know, we Canadians feel really badly about doing it and are VERY sorreyyy It’s come to this. We’re generally the people who belt out the US anthem without missing a beat during technical difficulties. We’re also studying labels, making sure we buy nothing from American companies.

We really should’ve paid attention when ivanka referred to the trumps as “American royals”.

Even the right wing billionaire media moguls don’t want to be on record supporting the bad guys. He’s firmly aligned himself with Putin, and is performing like the pathetic dancing monkey he is. The huge majority of the American people don’t want to be aligned with Putin. It’s 1930s Germany
