SKARSGARD!

Since it seems all I can sculpt are wolves and tigers at the moment, here's a look at some of the wolves I've made over the past year or so 🐺✨ #art #pottery #SciArt

WIP. Unfired, unglazed canyon altar with tiny integrated dried flower vases. I became drawn to depicting the visual language of my local canyon landscapes after the seismic, disruptive, instability of 2020. Feeling it again & it's seeping into my work. #ceramics #ceramicart #clayart #stoneware #art

This is how to be an ally to the trans community. Also, this isn't just an ex NFL player, he's the first punter ever inducted into the hall of fame.

I am still figuring out the flow of kiln rental in my home studio. How much stock do I build up before each stage of firing? How much long does it take me to build/glaze that much? And how far ahead does kiln space book? In the meantime, I'm amassing quite a collection of dice vessels!

A 🌈 of glaze tests have come back, and I'm in love #handbuilder #handbuildersofbluesky #pottersofbluesky

Something a little different. Porcelaneous stoneware teabowl thrown thick and carved. Celadon liner. Wood-salt fired. #teabowl #chawan #teaceremony #pottery #ceramics #pottersofbluesky #woodfiredpottery

From our first raku firing of the lunar New Year. Year of the Snake, the moonlight calls, Lunar new year, the old skin falls. Wisdom glows in earthen grace, A timeless path the stars embrace. #art #snake #raku #sciart #lunarnewyear

Hello! I'm Samirah and I just joined Bluesky a few days ago. I've been making nature inspired functional pottery in a range of styles for 13 years. Here are photos of past work. Recent work incorporates regional rocks and minerals into my clays and glaze. #portfolioday #ceramics #pottery

New bisqued dice vessels! In need of some bit of sanding, then they'll be ready for glazing.

A pottery kiln that may have been used during the Tudor period has been discovered at a school. Archaeologists said kilns of its size and quality were rare in the area and it could suggest it had a more substantial pottery industry than previously thought. 🏺 www.bbc.com/news/article...

A few vases and cups I've made over the last few months. I love this combo of #maycoglazes: Coral Sands, Sea Salt, Green Tea, and Black Walnut.

I've been a bit obsessed with making polyhedrons, inspired by D&D dice and my kid learning geometry. They're just fun slab builds, and I definitely see the beginnings of some piranha sculptures when I join the pyramids! #pottery #handbuilding #art #dnd
