UPDATE: The PD got some bad info from someone at the county atty's office. The case is now open, and charges are pending. They are also asking the court for a protective order on my behalf. I feel very relieved. Still on edge, but I'm going to just have to trust the justice system to do its thing.

We're rebooting our series North Iowa Nitty Gritty that was cut short due to the pandemic, in which we featured interesting "dirty jobs" like making burial vaults and goat farming. The new iteration of the series will be called Taking Care of Business: North Iowa. I'm so excited! Stay tuned.
