A huge loss to so many people. The extensive outpouring of love for Vicky shows how she lived: making an incredible impact on design and on the people she met. Vicky’s legacy is as remarkable as she was. ‘Links-a-plenty’ always ✨

You’re right about consistency. And I’ve not yet seen accountability for whole services in these roles. As Cathy says, that’s key... Hey, it's ambitious. Lots to learn either way. These conversations are good 👍

I get you. I guess the main thing is trying to grow roles that really do own 'whole services' and can get things done.

Hi. In this context, the senior service owner role is not the DDaT capability framework role. It is a broader senior civil servant role.

Feels like it speaks for a lot of us 🤣

Some reckons tl;dr capability building is Change. E-learning, memorising terminology from Agile Frameworks or chalk and talk will not get us where we need to be. medium.com/21st-century...

It's kind of that. And a court drama. It's a kooky kind of art. But I liked it. I realise most people will not like it... Check out: open.spotify.com/album/3X2oYJ... Also, out now, by Gaga: open.spotify.com/album/6eKdAM...

It's brill. Recommending it to everyone. Kudos @kateldn.bsky.social ✨

Capability is key. Even suppliers think this type of thing should be done centrally. For consistency. And all the other reasons… 👍

You're right on the smart kind folks, you're one of those. When I get frustrated or too much in my head I double down on communities, physical activity, and being in nature. Did you see @martinjordan.com and Kara are on this: bsky.app/profile/mart...

Definitely. We need more excellent (especially ’digital’) folks getting through. Good on you. Of course, you’re already winning 👏

Good luck, Coco 🙌 It's such an interesting process. Would be keen to know how you find it

Yeah. Twas a beaut. Like saying bye to summer. Solstice vibes 🙏

Not long. Maybe an hour or so up/down? It’s 3.7km, I think. I lingered en route and at the top to absorb the solstice vibes🤣

Yay. Looks like you 2 had fun. And yes. Let's try today if we can 💚

After the workshop activities, groups gave their feedback in plenary. A great group with really useful feedback for the next steps for the principles 👏 If you can, join the UK Gov Digital Slack channel #greener-services to get involved 💚 #SDinGov #GovDesign
