That’s it for today! Join me tomorrow to call out softballs for the democrats to hit if they want to bother picking up a bat!

Talk about the repatriated human trafficker Andrew Tate. Ask every Republican lawmaker who talked about protecting women from predators why they are not demanding his expulsion or imprisonment.

Host a press conference at the VA. Bring a survivor of cancer from burn pits who got treatment through PACT. Demand the secretary explain why he publicly called this vet’s treatment “consultants taking meeting minutes.”

Announce that the Republican Party is pro-cancer. Bring fired cancer researchers and a patient with you. Have them explain what they worked on and how that will now sentence Americans to an early death.

or is my right to control my body (aka my personal liberty) one of those "opposing viewpoints"?

It’s a tale within a tale and just gorgeous. Also not as epic but the Emily Wilde series is very swoon-worthy with a hilarious prickly heroine.

Possession is such a great choice; 13th Tale is good for this type of book too.

It also frames women as being selfish because they want balance or that income inequality between partners plus the cost of daycare ends in women having to stay home. It's so reductive.

Keith and I always threatened to start a tumblr called The Good Wife Takes Place in “Chicago,” featuring garbage cans that said “keep NYC clean”

The point is, we are *ALL* being punished for letting a Black man lead white America for 8 years. Trump and Musk represent a global white supremacist ideology that would rather destroy everything than let this happen ever again. This is not something elite media likes to discuss.

As always, Chicago walks so NYC can run. See also: Adams discovering trash cans.

My impression is Johnson is in over his head and bad at governing but he’s not, you know, accepting free flights to Istanbul and texting “let’s do some crimes!” to his chief of staff. He’s bad, but Adams is next-level.

So we didn’t make the wrong choice by choosing SNL

Literally ask what they mean specifically when any lambasts a DEI hire. Push on it.

This is outdated already but start talking about how the Republican pundits are pro-pedophile because of their reaction to Kendrick at the big game.

Stop showing up to work. There is no actual legislating happening. Don’t give them quorum. Go to all the places where layoffs are happening instead. Give the mic to people being sent home. Show them walking out with boxes.

Declare the GOP pro-cancer. Find a survivor and have them tell their story, and connect it to National Cancer Institute research. Drop that on YouTube too.

Case study here: Indiana born, Wisconsin bred. I moved to Chicago immediately after graduating from Madison because I wanted to live somewhere with functional public transportation and career opportunities. I do look at moving back to WI, but it would require a 50% pay cut for a lateral move.

I loved this show but that Vulture article made me decide to never watch it again. Rules no longer matter (see: our government) and this decision backs that up. The only power we have anymore is as consumers. Which is a bummer, bc how do we influence FX?
