Today is a great day to be honest with ourselves.
If America is to become “great” as in quality (and not “great” as in size), then America must first be buried and raised as something wholly other.
What good does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?

Stay strong. This is what they want us to feel. They’re counting on it. Had the fear I was sounding like an election denier but then remembered that actually was nothing. It’s a false equivalency brought on by being a sensible person.

This is the lane Jeff Jackson fits in so well. Glad to have him as NC AG, but would love to see a national run for him at some point.

If empathy is a sin to you, there is good news. This God of the Bible, the God of compassion, has empathy for you too.

born into poverty, spending part of his childhood as a refugee on foreign soil, growing up an oppressed minority under Roman rule, and dying the death of a criminal in order to defeat sin, destroy death, and reconcile us to himself.

If empathy is a sin, your god is not the triune God of the New Testament, who, out of love, compassion, and yes—empathy—for those downtrodden, abandoned, despised, or anyone (and everyone) destroying themselves through actual sin, chose to become one of us:

If empathy is a sin, your god is the god of Pharaoh, who oppressed God’s people and, because he saw them only as a commodity to be exploited, only added an even more impossible burden for them when they cried for mercy.

I’ve been checking them out since you posted this. I’m slender but looking for an alternative to my slim jeans. Would you recommend the vintage straight here over their straight? Big diff is that the VS has a higher rise (12vs 11in) and the S has a larger knee and cuff (17.5 vs 16.5). Help!

Thanks for this. Flex question: DK or Jerome Ford in .5 ppr? projection shows me ahead by 9. Don’t want to go away from DK when there may be positive regression coming, but like Ford’s floor.

Showed my dad the documentary Outfoxed in 2004 about how Fox News was only distorting the news, thinking it’d help. It didn’t. Can’t believe the level of disinformation 20 years later.
