so many of our parents - even the ones who used to bring us into major american cities in the 80s and 90s - are now terrified of every city because the TV tells them these cities are "no go zones," whatever the fuck that means

We're a city of 300k directly adjacent to a very large AFB. The idea that we're a fallen city is insane.
