Ugh of course Josh Hawley would completely misunderstand Epicurism. Guess he read that the guy wasn’t christian and that was enough to dismiss him, but the guy lived centuries before Christ! And he wasn’t even an atheist anyway!

Well the -ster suffix is etymologically female IIRC - a male spinster was a spinner. So I think linguistics people also have that association?
