My main takeaway for community professionals, from the new content moderation standards on X and Meta is: invest in community platforms where you can control the moderation. It's nothing new, and one of the big reasons Discord has risen as the gaming communities platform of choice.

It's not surprising to see Meta aligning on Trump/Musk demands for moderation guidelines. They've got no interest in making an enemy of the government, and the level of moderation they enforced was really expensive, dropping it will save them a lot. The question is how it'll affect advertising.
