YES.
The vast majority of the people I know who were bullied are incredibly kind, compassionate adults.
And honestly the "trauma makes you do evil things" narrative is so so so so offensive to the survivors who try every day to show the world more kindness than was shown to us.

So the moral of the story is, get a dog (if your situation allows)! They get you out of the house meeting people, give love, companionship, confidence and joy. They cost a mf'ing fortune and worth tenfold back. They sleep in your bed, shit in your house and you simply wouldn't have it any other way!
