You POMS folks were so nice and chill! It was a pleasure sharing the hotel with you all! Sometimes I wonder if it would be possible to have impromtu panels from conventions we share spaces with (and vice versa). I'm sure we could learn something from you all.

With that being said I put in a call to a professional therapist today to make an appointment. I am going to start trying to work towards achieving things that make me happy.

If I want to do that too then I need to discover those things. If I wanna find happiness then I need to start taking my own happiness seriously.

I can't keep chasing unattainable things or living with the regrets of the past. I can't keep living in the past. I see all these people at FWA and I realize that most of them are living their best life. They are able to express themselves and find joy in doing things that make them happy.

The first step in that should be to go to therapy. Start talking to someone who can help me process my emotions and what I want from life. I need to stop coasting and start doing things that make me genuinely happy. Furthermore, I need to pursue goals that bring me joy.
